We have too many heroes lost and not enough workout days to commemorate them. I think it’s fitting to always think of the men and women in service, whether military or peace officers and public safety, as we do our workouts. A bit of motivation to throw a little of our sweat and maybe a drop of blood on the floor in their honor.

Lol. First the dignified stuff then the hootin and hollerin.

I am so proud to be a part of Brand X and to have had Jason as one of my examples and instructors for the last 6 years.

Jason, you have earned the respect and love of a wonderful clan, and you have earned your black belt by nothing less than a fierce desire to be the best student you can be and by following that desire with hard, hard work. You’ve always been a teacher to me, and now you have the title and belt to go with your gifts and character.

And holy crap! Those bricks never even stood a chance. You could have heard a pin drop after they crumbled to the floor and the the loudest cheering and applause I think I’ve ever heard at Brand X. So freaking awesome.

What an achievement! And no more deserving a person. Jason has carried himself like a black belt since I first met him. And the bricks… another awesome Brand X moment.

Congratulations, Jason.

And congratulations to Becky and Austin; great night for them as well.
