ah, ok. I can do a dead hang pull up but i don’t know about chest to bar. I was trying to watch the vid but I’m at work so I’ll have to watch it at home so I can study it.

We have too many heroes lost and not enough workout days to commemorate them. I think it’s fitting to always think of the men and women in service, whether military or peace officers and public safety, as we do our workouts. A bit of motivation to throw a little of our sweat and maybe a drop of blood on the floor in their honor.

I didn’t really get into the forum thing until recently but since I saw this thread I thought I’d mention what I’m shooting for this year.  First a little background since I ‘m new here.  My brother has been pushing me to try Crossfit for a year (since he started) but I was too busy doing the typical globo gym thing.  Then one day he made me do a Crossfit travel WOD and I realized how unfit I really was.  So that, combined with the fact I’m applying for Army Warrant Officer Flight Training, really turned me onto the Crossfit ideology.  It also doesn’t hurt that I hear a lot of Federal and Military units use Crossfit in their training.

So onto my goals…
1. Since I’m new to this, establish some PRs and work to break them this year. (Early goal which I recently broke was to do 15 kips straight, so hopefully I can keep it up)
2. 2 miles <15 min
3. Get into WOFT

EDIT: Sorry Mods, could you move this to the Goals thread?  As the title suggests I am a noob at this and obviously posted incorrectly smile
