Wow! That was cool. Intense.
Ok, Ok, I know I did the puppy routine, but I did way more than I thought I could.
25 burpees (5x5)
30 jumping pullups (6x5)
40 situps (10x4)
40 presses (with 10#wts, 10x4)
40 kettlepulls (with 10#wts, 10x4)
At least, I think that’s what I did. I need a little checkoff list, Jeff! LOL.
I’ll be back!
(ps Thanks for the welcome, RED, Kim and Dale! I missed Ryan though!)

We have too many heroes lost and not enough workout days to commemorate them. I think it’s fitting to always think of the men and women in service, whether military or peace officers and public safety, as we do our workouts. A bit of motivation to throw a little of our sweat and maybe a drop of blood on the floor in their honor.

It was great to have you in class yesterday. I hope you come back for more. Cool to see the progression from a few months ago when I was at SAIC to now. It makes me very proud of the guys. I look forward to seeing them as instructors a few years from now. I think they will have a positive influence on a lot of people.

I’m glad you can see progress! It’s hard to tell if I’m getting better or stronger. I’ll have to come in and sho off my mad kicking skilz!
They are good teachers. And great guys. Now don’t make me inflate their egos anymore today!

I agree with you. They are sloppy in in poor shape. We will have to work them harder.

Laura
Just wanted to say good job- the hardest part is always trying the first class- people get intimidated and come up with 100 reasons why they can’t do it. All you need is one good reason to do it - It’s always good to see someone new give it a try.
Personally, I think it’s addictive…always changing ...always challenging yourself to do more, and the stuff is fun…wait til you see the sled..
I mean human chariot.

Thanks, Mikki!
I really did enjoy it and I’m starting to feel it in my shoulders. Yeah, it sounds intimidating at first. As Ricky would say, I was ascuurrred to try it. But I’ll definitely be back.
...human chariot. GREAT. I hope that’s not on kilt day.

Good job on the CrossFit yesterday. You have gotten stronger. You’ll notice results faster now that you’ve added more workouts to your week.

Yes I did. I did six of them. 1 was to show proper form. Then, remember when you guys got to do 5 extra for getting a slow start on a punching drill? I did those with you.
