Just getting some practice in for a comp soon.

Is there anything obvious I can improve for the Jerk?

I think on my last rep my chest came forward which meant receiving was a little harder, not sure about the rest of the reps though…

Many thanks in advance for any constructive feedback grin

Yes, on the last rep you drove the bar forward.

In general there’s a few things I like to see:
1. Make the dip a little shallower.
2. Quicker turn-around on the drive. Right now the bar is stalling a tad. See #1.
3. Make the split a little wider
4. Make the receiving position a little lower. How tall are you? That’s how far off the ground the bar should be when you recieve the jerk. Right now it’s about 3” higher than that. See #3.

Thank you Lincoln, I humbly appreciate your Oly lifting knowledge.

I’ll take those crucial points on board.
