I was wondering who has a yearly fitness test at their work and what that test involves.  I’m a Police officer, in a specialist section, in Australia and we are required to pass a yealry fitness assessment.  Our testing involves alot of elements which have been assessed as being mandatory for our daily duties.  At the moment the test I believe is adequate but probably could be harder.

We are required to perform the beep test to a minimum level of 8.5 (being a competative enviroment this always turns into a c@ck measuring exercise and people are often into level 12 and 13.)  Also we have to perform 6 clean and jerks with an 80lb weighted bag within 30 sec.  A vertical leap to 30cm.  A bridge (for core strength) for 1minute.  25 push ups and a weighted pull up with ballistic vest on(this also turns into another exercise where people attempt to out do each other).

I would be interested in other fitness tests that people within the forum are required to do for their work.
