I remember Gimpy when he had hair. Pre-emptive strike against mail pattern baldness Mike? wink

I thought the last one was high until I watched the chalk marks on your hips, those black pants make it hard to spot depth accurately on video.
And I thought you were pitching forward a little on the 395lb, but that was the camera angle shifting.

Good lifts. Nice and solid.

Wow, and shot in Grambling-O-Vision . . . fast motion for everyone.  Or it just looked like how everyone walked in the 20’s . . .

Good stuff Gimpy, Good stuff.

HOLY. Sheeeeeet.

Nice, very nice, Mike.

The high speed vid made Gimpy look like a bull stomping before goring the poor little matador.

We have too many heroes lost and not enough workout days to commemorate them. I think it’s fitting to always think of the men and women in service, whether military or peace officers and public safety, as we do our workouts. A bit of motivation to throw a little of our sweat and maybe a drop of blood on the floor in their honor.

the lifts felt good but earlier this week i realized i was tightening my belt one notch too tight.  It was restricting my ability to get more depth, which is something I already kind of struggle with.  The lifts are possibly, in fact, too high.  I’ll just have to try again later this week.

LOL.

I made my defiant last stand with the pony tail. That’s gone and I’m now complacently letting nature take its course.

Saw these in person. The depth got better as the weight went up. 395# was high, but 415# was legit. Great job Mike!

I concur. The depth wasn’t always high, it was inconsistent. The last one was right on the edge. Strong work for sure though.

I prefer the stripes on the sweats to reach parallel or below, but then again I have a warped perspective. And I don’t have a 400# squat.
