2)  165 X 3
3)  175 X 3
4)  185 X 3
5)  195 X 3
6)  205 X 3
7)  215 X 3

I should have tried more…....didn’t push myself enough…...

damn dude, that’s pretty f***ing impressive.  are you, like, atlas or something?

“We converted Atlas to CF.” That’s one way to advertise elite fitness.
Amazing that you didn’t push yourself enough, bro. I expect 250 next time this rolls around, drb worship

Thanks…...THe final weight of 215 was tough, but what I meant when I said I didn’t push myself enough was the weights before that…...I should have done say 185 x 3 for sets 2-5, then went up from there…...By the way, My 1- rep max is 245, so I am not getting 250 x 3 anytime soon…..

Well, I look forward to more stellar showings on ME days

Double unders are stupid unless:
1. You have no other holes in your fitness
2. You plan on competing

I didn’t know my 1RM and I’m pretty sure I started too high.  On top of that I miscounted the amount of sets so…

We have too many heroes lost and not enough workout days to commemorate them. I think it’s fitting to always think of the men and women in service, whether military or peace officers and public safety, as we do our workouts. A bit of motivation to throw a little of our sweat and maybe a drop of blood on the floor in their honor.

Adding a comment before this thread closes so I can put in my workout from last night when I get home.

BW Thrusters / Pull-ups was the workout.

So I wanted to introduce a friend of mine to crossfit who is already a well seasoned weight lifter and former football player who is in good condition, goes to the gym everyday, has a degree in physical education and has been a nutritionalist and personal trainer on and off for several years at a local globo..

We did the following..

3 rounds, 6minutes per round, rest until the 6min are up after each run
1minute - thrusters - 17.5# dumbells
1minute - pull-ups - unassisted at first and then assisted starting with blue and moving to green to keep reps going
.25mile run @ 9mph

I thought he was going to puke at first but held it back nicely then later he told me he was pretty sure he was getting a high off endorphins and he had kind of a blank stare on his face for the next several hours.. Mission accomplished.

1 down ... and everyone else to go.
