Adding in some good fats at every meal (nuts / avacado / etc) will really help you burn fat. I do the zone and since going on it maybe 2 months Ive lost 15 pounds and about 4 or 5%. If you want to check that out just read around here for it or go to zonediet.com

I agree with MastroJ. - Also, based on my experience (I’m not a nutritionist):
For breakfast replace the oats with plain yogurt, add to banana, or replace, with berries. No shake.  Eggs are perfect!
I don’t know what kind of shake that is, but really, if you’re trying to lose weight - avoid snacks.  if you get complex carbs (in veg and fruit) and plenty of protein, you shouldn’t need snacks.  I like The Maker’s Diet by Jordan S. Ruben.  It worked for me (lost 15 lbs this past summer - before I even knew about Crossfit)

That’s not bad.
I like the Zone so I’d have you balance out some of the macronutrienrts a little as in breakfast, but if you’re going to have more carbs, first thing in the morning isn’t a bad time to do it.

You’ve made a fair stab at covering my basic rules of thumb though:
Eliminate sugar, flour, potatoes, grains etc
Minimise processed foods.
Protein with every meal.
Keep an eye on portion sizes.

That will get you most of the way there right off.
