Went really light on the weight with this one.  Deadlifts have been wrecking havoc on my back if they have any significant weight, to the point where I have to take an extra rest day.  Frustrating, but I am not in pain now.  Pushups are sorta a goat of mine too. 

Would you do me a favor and try and post some video of your deadlift?  Side angle and maybe some from a 3/4 angle from the front to see set up.  I’m worried that you’ve got a form issue if you’re out of commission from those.  They should make you sore, but you’ve been around here long enough you shouldn’t be in pain.

Who knew a tennis court could hold so much pain….

Death by bear crawl…disappointed in my results…started at minute 2…out by minute four.

9 rounds of the Pushup/squat workout. Could have been worse.

Fun and glad I went. 4th (and 5th) workout of the week and 3rd day at Brand X Wooot! I love Brand X.

FitFreak, OzzyDawg and Sensei John, nice job on both workouts! Very strong work.

Did 2 WODs in one session today 15/03/10

Weighted Pull-ups

Body weight 106kg

Kg: 5-10-10-15-15-15Fail + Cash out did 4 more unweighted

Never done before with weight and it’s only months since I could even do 1 pull-up

Really sprung up after weight removed. I just feel amazed every time my head goes past the bar!

Feels like someone else!

Complete as many rounds in 12 minutes as you can of:
Run 200m
20 Wallball shots, 5kg ball

Got 4 rounds in for time – did 5 but took 12:53

Must remember to thrust with my hips and legs

20 wallball shots + 400m run

I bet I could have made 7 but the treadmill I was on took about 30 seconds to get to the speed i wanted to run at.

Simply out of curiosity, what made you feel that you couldn’t do the 40 wallball shots?  Or did you do 40 shots, with a 20# ball?  I’m asking because I’ve chosen to do fewer rounds at the “pack” weight to build my strength.  Looking for other approaches to consider.
