Hello,

I am on a strict zone-diet for 2 weeks now and was wondering if what i am eating every day is okay, or that i need more variation?

Also i was wondering how strict the blocks are. I am 1.85m and weight 70 kg, the calculator says i am a 17 blocker, but i eat 19 blocks everyday? Does it matter?

So my schedule is:

Morning, 5 block breakfast: 90 gr sliced deli meat, 1 slice bread with 1 2/3 butter, 2 eggs over easy, 1,5 pear.
Snack 2 block: slice bread with 90 gr sliced deli meat, 2 tsp avocado
Lunch 5 block: 560 ml yogurt with 15 cashew nuts
Dinner 5 block: 225 gr ground beef or 150 gr chicken, 0,5 cup leek, 450 ml tomato sauce
Snack 2 block: 225 ml milk, 1 cup frozen strawberries, 7 gr protein, 6 cashew nuts

I basically eat every day the same.
Also i was wondering in what way, how and when i am going to feel the difference and advantage from consuming this diet.

Thnx a lot in advance for answering!

Caspar:

I don’t know what your goals are but if you want to lose fat, see how it goes.  If your weight isn’t dropping, drop a block, then if that doesn’t work another.

19 blocks may work fine for you and if you’re not worried about losing weight, then you should just do what you need to keep performance up.

i don’t mind loosing some fat, but i don’t have much to start with.
The reason why i started with zone, is because i am curious if it really helps getting me perform better, gain more muscle and loose the last bits of fat.
